We know you’re busy and want to get out there and fish, which is why we are now offering a custom build service. We have garnered quite the reputation in helping DIYers from start to finish, listening and helping them along. Our brains are always ripe for picking. Additionally, we have been receiving customer reels from those who would rather have a trusted and reputable shop do it for them, which is why we are now offering this as a service. We sell reels that work marvelously, without any fluffed up products. Our goal is to take out the guess work so that you have something truly unique and purpose built.

Here’s how it works. We find the reel; not just any reel, but something in a presentable condition and buy it for our inventory. We don’t go out looking for anything we can find, we want you to have something as close to new looking as possible. From there, you purchase the reel from us so that we may reserve it for you, then fill out the form in accordance with the parts you’d like installed. Afterwards, we create a build sheet detailing the cost of parts and labor, send a quote, and upon approval of the quote, we order parts, assemble, fine tune, then send an invoice to finish it all up. Sounds easy, right? In the event you decide not to proceed after the build quote, the reel itself can either be purchased as-is or we will issue a 100% refund. Once parts are ordered, you are committing to the build being completed, no refunds will be issued afterward. Each custom build will include a complimentary annual Pit Stop service to the original owner for a period of three years; you just pay shipping, easy peasy!

You may be asking, why are we doing this? We believe you should fish the very best. Even if the original manufacturer of the model slept on developing markets, we are here to fulfill that. With the newfound niches of BFS and mountain stream bait finesse, these classics have found a new life. Which reels will we do? For now, we will be focusing on small frame Ambassadeurs such as 1500C and 2500C, mid frame models like the 4600C, and Daiwa Millionaire and Alphas models in the 100 size. You never know what is going to land in our store, so check back frequently!
