Heads up for the off-season: 2027 Service Pricing Update & How to Lock In Current Rates
If you have reels waiting for off-season service, now is the time to get them on the bench. Starting January 1, 2027, service rates at Ashlin Fishing will be increasing:
The Pit Stop: Moving from $49.99 to $64.99
The Blueprint: Moving from $69.99 to $89.99
Why the change? Every reel that comes through this shop is broken down and detailed by hand rather than being dumped into an ultrasonic cleaner, before being checked for component wear. The levels of service will remain the same with no changes. As always, each one is reassembled with application-specific synthetic greases and oils. Adjusting these rates ensures I can continue putting that exact same level of time, focus, and precision into every reel on the bench without ever cutting corners or rushing a build.
How to lock in 2026 pricing: You have all of November and December to take advantage of the current $49.99 / $69.99 rates (meaning you can get a full Blueprint right now for just $5 more than a 2027 Pit Stop).
The Cutoff Rule: Any service order postmarked on or before December 31, 2026 locks in 2026 pricing, even if your reels don't hit the bench until January.
Faster Turnaround: Getting your gear in during November and December means skipping the late winter/early spring bottleneck when everyone scrambles to get their tackle ready before the weather improves.
