High viscosity oil for use in support bearings and level wind mechanisms in baitcast and spinning reels. We do not recommend this being used in synchronized level wind reels like Ambassadeurs and larger Shimano Calcutta models. This oil lasts a long time and doesn't emulsify in water. This is a marine-spec grease specifically for metal to metal contact surfaces, fortified with molybdenum. Microscopic pores in the metal are filled, creating a slick surface resulting in utmost refined smoothness. Molybdenum may cause slight discoloration, but if you’re looking, you ain’t fishing. A little goes a very long way. Apply lightly until the metal has a slight haze. Comes in a 5g jar.
